Our team of senior stylists from Amy Chan Hair and Makeup Artistry, an Asian makeup artist team based in Sydney, had the pleasure of looking after Bryoni and Dennis on their wedding day. The couple chose to celebrate their wedding ceremony and reception at Jonah’s, one of Sydney’s most sought after boutique hotels by the beach. With Sydney known for its coastal lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere, it is no surprise this overseas couple chose such an iconic location for their wedding.

With Bryoni travelling from Hong Kong, it was important for her to engage an Asian makeup artist in Sydney who understands Chinese culture and Asian bridal beauty. She wanted a soft, effortless style that felt natural and timeless, while still being polished enough for wedding photography.

The wedding day began with hair and makeup at a nearby holiday house where the bridal party stayed together. The morning was filled with laughter, shared memories, and plenty of food, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. These moments are an important part of our work as a Sydney Asian makeup artist team, allowing brides to feel comfortable and supported before the celebrations begin.

Our senior stylists, all personally trained and mentored by our creative director and founder Amy Chan, created natural and classic wedding hair and makeup for Bryoni and her bridesmaids. The focus was on enhancing each individual’s features while maintaining a cohesive look that suited the beachside setting and the overall style of the wedding.
