We first got to know Queenie & Edward at their pre wedding, all the way in the land of the rising sun, Japan. Japan had a very special meaning to them where Edward proposed to Queenie, so they wanted to go back and have their memories captured. Not only we were able to create beautiful memories for them, a friendship was formed where we spent more than half our time in Japan together finding unique restaurants as well as heart to heart conversations.

Fast forward almost 1 year, they were very nervous on the wedding day ans so were we! With their wedding date being one of the most popular in the entire year, Amy and her team got up extra early to start makeup at another wedding before arriving to meet Queenie.

Queenie and her bridal party including Edward's sister, was fresh for our Hair and Makeup team. They undertstood Asian Wedding Makeup requires them to wake up earlier than their usual time but for their best friend, it was worth every second. We arrived in their suite at the Langham Hotel in Sydney where it was beautifully decorated with white French Provincial furniture and freshly cut flowers. The morning was very exciting for everyone and was filled with lots of stories of the bride and groom as well as food prepared by the mother of the bride.

While Queenie was having her bridal portraits in her suite, Edward was outside anxiously waiting to see his bride for the first time. They wanted to have an intimate, uninterrupted first look of each other before they walk down the aisle.

Following their first look, they took advantage of the weather and headed out to one of Sydney's iconic location Bradley's Head, for more photos. By then they were no strangers to posing in front of the camera, and aced each shot.
